Mixed Shores!
Trips to the beach - whether it is lake or ocean - are often regular routines this time of the year, no matter where we may live. Sand and sunshine are a winning combination for almost everyone's summer delight.
Another aspect of the seasonal freedom is optional attire. More and more public spaces are now offering clothing optional areas for their guest's enjoyment. These sites are increasing in popularity as the old dictates on public nudity begin to gradually fade away. The numbers of people electing to discard their swimsuits is increasing more and more each year!

Sometimes, when those who are fully clothed encounter someone who is fully nude, they become bold and curious as to what type of reaction they will receive from someone totally relaxed about being around another who is wearing clothes.
The clothes-free are accustomed to the obvious curiosity and flirtatious actions of those who are too inhibited to join in the experience of being naked with others. Social nudity is a situation that seems to be completely second-nature to those of us who prefer nakedness over being concealed!

Cover Yourself!
Even though it is now August and for many, summer is practically over, it remains important that we all remember the protection of sunscreen. Careful and complete application now can save not only health and money in the future. A variety of types of sunscreen are available: lotions, creams, sprays, and other types. In less than five minutes we can protect our skin from untold misery down the road.
The actual application can be a joint endeavour that proves to be a pleasure for everyone involved - and also as a means of introducing ourselves and our bodies to one another!
It may be August, but, the sun continues to shine!

Naked Pride!
August is a popular month for the shedding of clothes and the relaxed enjoyment of our nudity. The weather alone is a prime reason for this "clothes-free" season. Most of us are bare whenever we're around water, ocean, pool, lake and/or river. The convenience of being naked without the hassle of having an item of covering to worry about or bother with makes perfect sense.
So what is the attraction with shaving our body hair? In my humble opinion, a shaved body only serves to highlight our barrenness. Smooth is what we all are prior to puberty. I prefer the vestiges of maturity: body hair.
For example, pubic hair has some men concerned that it visually "shrinks" the visual size of their manhood - penis. Actually, the visibility of pubic hair not only affirms their gender but it also conveys to others their confidence in their nudity.
Just a thought to share with others.

Blog Buddies
It's now been almost three months since I began publishing Guys Without Boxers. I started writing when it was at the end of autumn, 2012, and here it is now, dead in the middle of winter, 2013. I'm struggling to survive the cold weather and am looking forward to the upcoming warmer temperatures and the ability to get outside without clothes (boxers or otherwise). I admit that blogging is helping to make the winter bare-able this year (along with the attention and help of my boyfriend, my man).
During this time, I've met some cool fellow gay bloggers from all over the world. This has helped to make the experience exciting and fun. Due to my shyness, I've always found it easier to write to men rather than meet them in person. I'm continuing to develop my social skills (thanks in a large part to my BF) and at the same time, improve my correspondence, especially with my new buddies from overseas.
In a token sign of my appreciation to my blogger brothers that I've met through Guys Without Boxers, I dedicate this post to each and every one of them. Thanks, guys, for welcoming me into the blogging fraternity. I'm grateful for your friendship and support. All of you are beautiful men. I love you, buddies!
